This delicious fried rice can be made with any leftover meats or vegetables you have in your fridge. It is deliciously crispy and so flavourful. You can add anything you want and make it to your taste.
Ingredients
  • 4 cups cooked rice, measurement optional
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • Leftover chicken, pork, or any kind of meat
  • ½ cup peas
  • ½ cup diced carrots
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ¼ cup green onion, diced
  • ¼ cup corn
  • Soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
Instructions
  1. Make garlic butter compound by mixing minced garlic with softened butter until fully combined. On a large pan, wok, skillet, or flat grill cook the beaten eggs into scrambled eggs. Put them aside and break them into small pieces. Put 2 tbsp of sesame oil on the pan on medium high heat and add the onions and cook for 5 minutes. Add the finely chopped meat, chicken, or pork and cook until crispy for about five minutes. Add 2 tbsp of butter compound and the peas, carrots, green onions, and corn. Cook for five minutes until crispy and well cooked. Add the other 2 tbsp of butter compound and add the rice a bit at a time. Add as little or as much rice as you want, to your taste. Mix until well incorporated, and with colour, about 5 minutes. Add the eggs and soy sauce and mix. Season with salt to taste.
